Devil's claw takes its name from the hooked seed pods of the plant, not from anything about how it is used.The extract is made from the secondary tuber of Harpagophytum, responsibly wildcrafted in South Africa, at an extraction rate of 233mg of herb per 0.7ml, in organic cane alcohol at 71 percent and above with distilled water.The secondary tuber is the part specified in herbal practice, and harvesting it correctly leaves the main tuber in the ground so the plant survives. Devil's claw is gathered from the wild in the Kalahari, and responsible harvesting is a genuine issue for the species rather than a marketing line.Shake well, then add one squeeze of the dropper bulb to a small glass of water or juice, two to four times a day, between meals.Not suitable during pregnancy, or if you have gastric or duodenal problems or gallstones.
