Yucca is another popular herbal anti-inflammatory which has been used for many years by Native Americans. The active ingredient in Yucca is the plant sterol, Saponin which not only reduces inflammation and pain but also is a powerful antioxidant. Antioxidants protect and maintain cell membranes from free radical reactions and oxidative stress that can result from everyday cell metabolism, injuries, joint disease and extreme work and exercise.
