Dewan is a competitive territory-placement and hand-management board game from Space Cowboys, designed by Johannes Goupy and Yoann Levet. Each player leads a tribe exploring a newly opened landscape. The board is limited, so getting your camps into the best positions before your opponents is crucial. The clever combination of card management, route planning and area placement means every movement matters. Your Story tiles give you personal objectives, while the changing scenarios alter the map and scoring from game to game. How to Play On your turn, you can either take two adjacent Terrain cards from the display or use cards from your hand to move across the map and place a camp. Different terrain types – including forests, mountains, deserts, canyons and water – determine how you travel. Each territory can only contain one camp, creating a tense race for the most useful spaces. Once your camps are positioned, use them to fulfil the requirements of your Story tiles and earn Victory Points. You can also collect berries and master fire for additional scoring opportunities. With only one action per turn, Dewan keeps the pace moving while making every decision important. Why You’ll Love It Fast-paced strategy – Games take around 30–40 minutes.
