The album was recorded last May at the legendary FAME and Muscle Shoals Sound Studio in Alabama with Grammy Award-winning producer Ben Tanner, known for his work with Alabama Shakes and Dylan LeBlanc. Frontman Pablo van de Poel describes the experience as magical, saying, "Right when we played our first notes there, I got goosebumps: here was that sound I've been hearing on all those classic albums!"
