Purpose built for kingfish "King mackerel" but not limited to only kingfish however the wire/cable does reduce the bycatch like tuna and mahi mahi. But anything with sharp teeth this rig will perform well! How Do I Use These Kingfish Rigs? First tie your mainline to the swivel at the top of the rig. Then select your preferred live bait. Start with the front nose hook and hook the bait either through the nose or threw the top lip. Then take the back two stinger treble hook and hook part of the treble hook into the top of the baitfish. Cast or drop back your live bait and wait for the strike. PRO TIP try and not handle your live bait the more you touch and net your live bait the more slim and scales you will loose. This puts a lot of stress on the bait.
