This concentrated softener is a game-changer for fiber artists and textile enthusiasts alike. Perfect for post-dyeing care, it also prevents needle cutting on cotton knits when used before sewing. Far more potent than conventional fabric softeners, a little goes a long way: just 1/4 cup per washing machine load (or 1 teaspoon per gallon) does the trick. Agitate for 10 minutes in hot water, rinse in warm water, and prepare to fall in love with the touch of your fabric. Pro Tip: Never use fabric softener on undyed materials—it leaves a residue that can lead to uneven dyeing. Prepare to cuddle up with it immediately!
