It began as a happy accident when Mick had the wrong fin set for what was at the time intended to be a twin+1, this happened to perform unbelievably well. The Utopia features a fin placement that is clustered together more like a twin fin, this translates into more speed and power without the unpredictability of a twinny. The Utopia has quickly become a team favourite: Liam O'Brien also praised it as the fastest and most stable board he has ever ridden. Featuring a wider nose and super squashed tail, it glides from section to section and is controlled throughout turns.
