Overview The Gray Tools Dial Type Torque Wrench with Memory Needle is built for professionals who demand precision in demanding industrial environments, and offered by the only Canadian owned and domestically headquartered hand tool company. The dial gauge displays torque dynamically in real time as force is applied, and the memory needle holds at the peak value reached so it can be read after the fastener is torqued. Reading the dial requires a direct line of sight to the gauge while torquing. Large easy to read dial Individually serialized with matching factory certificate of calibration traceable to N.I.S.T. Meets or exceeds ASME B107.14-2004 and ISO 6789 standards Packaged in a blow mold case Available in various drive sizes and capacities Specifications Accuracy: ± 4% CW, ± 4% CCW ASME Specification: B107.14-2004 ISO Specification: 6789 Drive size, capacity, and overall length vary by selected option, see variant for details. Applications Ideal for quality control and auditing of existing fasteners, including checking residual or breakaway torque to verify a joint was tightened correctly. Well suited for engine blueprinting and rebuilding work such as measuring bearing preload or rotational drag, calibration labs verifying the accuracy of other torque tools, and aerospace and defense applications where precision and stability are mandatory.
