The Diamond 12.2 is the largest bookshelf speaker in the Diamond 12 Series — a two-way standmount for medium to larger rooms where a floorstander won’t fit. Its 150 mm (6.5") woven -cone bass/mid driver and 25 mm textile-dome tweeter reach down to a 43 Hz bass extension, delivering genuine low-end weight from a stand-mounted cabinet.Built on a bass-reflex enclosure with an 11.8 L internal volume and a low 2.0 kHz crossover, the 12.2 stays open and composed up to a 96 dB peak SPL. With 88 dB sensitivity and an 8 Ω nominal impedance (4 Ω minimum), it handles amplifiers from 20 to 120 W with ease.It tops the standmount range in the Diamond 12 Series; if you have the floor space, the 12.3 and 12.4 floorstanders go deeper still.
