They may create burrows under rockwork and can rearrange sand in the process. A well-established sand bed is important for long-term success, as they rely on microfauna in addition to prepared foods. They are known jumpers, so a secure lid is strongly recommended. Feeding & Diet While they naturally sift sand for food, supplemental feeding is essential.
