The wax pencil that comes in your kit? Totally works. No notes. But if you want to level up your setup, this pretty diamond picker is the one we actually use. We tested a lot of th em. This is the one on our bedside tables. It's a double-sided Craft Lab branded tool: one side is a replaceable wax tip (so you never have to worry about running out), and the other is a stainless steel point for nudging and repositioning stones. That combo makes a big difference, especially when you're working with the tiny ones. Less fumbling, more flow. The wax pencil is your reliable baseline. The Boujee Diamond Picker is for when you're ready to move faster and feel fancy doing it. Show more
