Diane's 6" Shear is a stainless-steel hair-cutting scissor sized for detail work rather than bulk cutting. At 6 inches, the blade is shorter than a 7"+ cutting shear, which gives t ighter control for precision tasks like bang trims, face-framing pieces, and finishing touches on shorter cuts, while longer shears are better suited to fast, blunt cutting through thicker or longer sections. The manufacturer's own listing describes the blade edge as both micro-serrated and smooth-cutting — two finishes that typically produce different results, since a serrated edge grips and textures hair while a smooth edge gives a single clean line — so the exact cutting action of this specific shear isn't confirmed. The handles are lightweight and finished in black for comfortable use during longer sessions. Show more
