Written for drummer Stanton Moore, Camp Stanton by Brett Dietz is an exciting work for drum set and percussion ensemble which incorporates the classic rudimental solo Three Camps as well as several other unique styles and grooves. Compositionally, the work plays the traditional solo then launches into an Afro-Cuban feel, a march feel, then a call and response between the drummer and the percussion ensemble.
