TBA — short for To Be Announced — is a band out of Emeryville, California that came together during the pandemic, when everything slowed down and life got uncertain. Like a lot of people, they lost their jobs and suddenly had a lot of time and not much direction. So they started doing what felt right — hanging out, spending time together, and making music. At some point, the question came up: what are we even going to call this? Jordan Davis threw out “TBA — To Be Announced,” and it stuck. It fit the moment — nothing was really planned, and they were just figuring it out as they went. The group is made up of Ken Burton on bass, Elandis V. Brooks on trumpet, Joshua Grason on keys, and Jordan Davis on drums. Together, they’ve built a sound that reflects where they’re from and what they’ve been through. Show more
