Dion - Runaround Sue CD Dion went solo in 1961 with Runaround Sue, his first album following his departure from Dion and the Belmonts. Originally released by Laurie Records, the al bum reached #11 on the US chart and established Dion as a major solo star, with the title track becoming a US #1 and UK #11 hit. Alongside the unforgettable Runaround Sue, the album features another of Dion's best-known recordings, The Wanderer, which reached #2 in the US and #10 in the UK. The programme also includes his versions of Dream Lover, Life Is But A Dream, Little Star, In The Still Of The Night, Kansas City and Take Good Care Of My Baby, making this a superb snapshot of Dion at the height of the early 1960s vocal pop and rock 'n' roll era. This 2012 UK CD reissue presents all 12 tracks from the original album, including two major Dion classics, Runaround Sue and The Wanderer.
