The clone has circulated among specialist carnivorous plant growers and remains valued for the features that distinguish it from typical forms. Kuga is characterised by robust traps with strong colouration. Mature plants produce paired snap traps equipped with sensitive trigger hairs capable of rapid prey capture. Trap colour may range from green through orange, red, burgundy or deep maroon depending on light intensity, season and plant maturity.
