Dipel is Bacillus thuringiensis subspecies kurstaki (Btk) strain ABTS-351 (54%), a mix of fermentation solids, spores, and toxins that target caterpillars. After ingestion of spore s and toxins, the pest stops eating within an hour and dies within a couple of days.
