This is the Directed DB3 Interface Module. The DB3 is an all-in-one programmable immobilizer bypass and convenience interface, covering over 95% of vehicles on the road. During a remote start it satisfies the vehicle's factory immobilizer so the engine will run without a key present, then hands control back when you get in and drive.
