It is entirely possible to disagree with someone and still respect them as a person, still see them as a friend, and still work together with them on common goals. It is neither realistic nor desirable to expect the country to become 100% conservative, or 100% liberal. We need both. We need to learn to disagree without feeling the need to destroy. We need to disagree and nonetheless come together. Nobody will listen to, or change for, someone they don't like. If we want to change things, if we want to create a better future for our country, we have to first like each other and get along.
