Pre Order Description This bust of a discus thrower reproduces a fragment of the original bronze statue, now lost, created by the Greek sculptor Naucydes in the early 4th century B C. The concentrated look shows the tension that preceded the throw. A reproduction of the whole statue is on display in the Louvre Museum's galleries. Torso of Discus thrower also available.
