The Discraft Prototype Drive is Paige Pierce's stable distance driver, an 11 speed built to sit between control and raw distance. Flight Numbers: 11 / 5 / -1 / 2 This prototype run comes in Discraft's grippy Signature ESP blend, tacky in the hand and durable enough to handle years of fairway mistakes without going soft fast. It beats in gradually, so the stable flight on day one is close to what you still get well into its life. A slower arm gets real glide and a gentle turnover before it settles back to straight, which is what makes it work for someone who could never get a flippier driver to hold up on a flat release. A big arm gets a longer, more stable flight with a dependable fade at the end instead of a hard cut. On a hyzer it flips up and rides flat for a long, controlled glide, the shot this disc is built for. Want the production version once it ships? The Discraft ESP Drive is the standard release. Want more turn out of a similar speed driver? The understable Discraft CryZtal Scorch flips over easier. Browse the rest of our stable distance drivers. Speed 11, glide 5, turn -1, fade 2. Diameter 21.1 cm, rim width 2.1 cm, max weight 174 g.
