Automatic Dish Powder Finally a chlorine free automatic dish powder! Please note, for your health and safety, this product also no longer contains phosphates - you may notice minor residue on your dishes in hard water. This is actually a mineral coating (from your water) which can be removed with vinegar and is completely harmless. Many dishwashers have salt softeners for this reason. Since phosphates were banned (June 30, 2010) in Auto Dish products, Bio Pac, Inc. does not use phosphates in the formulation anymore.
