'Dispersion' is a series of paintings centred on the theme of our lives and the quiet connection between us all. For this reason, each work is presented in a circular format. The circle is a universal symbol of eternity, wholeness, unity and the infinite. Each painting is unique, yet together they speak of the same simple truth: that we are all part of something greater. Each of us is a small but essential element of the whole, moving through our own moment in time and space. Each of us has our 5 minutes here on Earth, our moment to shine, to be seen, and to become part of something beautiful and infinite. The gold pigment symbolises those precious five minutes: our brief moment of light amidst the infinite. It is a reminder that even the smallest fragment of existence can hold extraordinary beauty — that our lives, however fleeting, are part of something far greater than ourselves. Like particles of gold suspended in space, we appear, we shimmer, and eventually we return to the whole. Yet, for a moment, we shine. We are all one.
