Designed in California; Made in Japan. Koharu Eclipse is a six base frame construction defining a new approach to unisex sports eyewear. The ergonomic form is engineered to aid ventilation and enhance the field of vision. The 125mm temples are architected for helmet use. Adjustable nose pads and temple tips ensure a secure, personalized fit, reinforced with a grade 2 titanium core in the temple tips for added strength. District Vision's signature D+ therapeutic-grade lenses are crafted from a shatterproof polycarbonate compound. The interior surfaces feature anti-reflective and oleophobic coatings, providing comprehensive eye protection while repelling water and oil. D+ Fire Mirror was developed for physical pursuits requiring maximum sun protection. The mirror coating facilitates additional infrared screening. The lens offers 100% UVA/B protection while transmitting 19.17% of visible light and 14.03% of blue light. This version features District Vision's vented lenses made with high-precision and hand finished CNC cutting techniques. Vent cuts are positioned along the upper edge of the lenses creating additional air exchange around the frame—helping warm, humid air escape before it can accumulate behind the lens. This increased ventilation reduces conditions that cause condensation and lens fogging, a principle commonly used in performance eyewear. The cuts serve both as a functional detail and a distinct visual element highlighting the beauty of advanced eyewear technology.
