Mutes is the first module from DivKid, developed with Befaco. It is essentially a playable, 4-input, vactrol based mute with a performance focus. Each input is buffered with cascad ing normalisation, allowing you to split groups of signals to multiple destinations, making it great for FX dub performing and adding moments of variation to your control and audio signals. In addition, each input has a dedicated click-free switch with three options - momentary, off, and on - making it a versatile tool for varied signal routing and switching. In MOMENTARY position, signal passes through, as the switch is held in the left position, then springs back to the centre when released. Center position is the classic OFF (or muted). And ON is to the right. The vactrols on the circuit give the switching between these positions a pleasing decay for both audio and modulation, as well a totally click-free muting.Think of Mutes as being able to add playable mutes to any module that may lack that functionality: a simple mixer, input or output module, modulator, sequencer, gate source and more.
