A four channel morphing scanner for audio & CV. Morph modulation & scan your audio in new ways! Trace is a four-channel Interpolating Scanner created in collaboration with Vostok Instruments & DivKid. Introduced by Jurgen Haible in 1994 and later improved by Donald Tillman in 1999, the Interpolating Scanning circuit is a hybrid between a signal selector and a crossfader. The circuit morphs between the inputs, fading from one to the next as the voltage control rises. The Trace version of this classic circuit comes with a custom, fine-tuned slope response that prioritizes a smooth transition between the inputs, providing interesting middle points between the channels and improving its behavior when controlled by external CV signals. Its clean and playful layout makes Trace a powerful tool for adding a new layer of depth and playability to your patches. From waveform morphing and CV-controlled transitions, to audio-rate scanning. Trace brings a new horizon of patching possibilities to any system. Dimensions 4 HP 32 mm deep Current Draw 70 mA +12V 70 mA -12V 0 mA 5V
