Scratch away the top layer to reveal the blank canvas underneath (either a bold contrasting colour or solid black). Step 2. Write or draw anything. A word, a name, a picture, an inside joke. Step 3. Shuffle your custom cards into your original FTG deck. The card backs match so nobody knows what's coming. Step 4. Play as normal. The Stroop Effect doesn't care if the word is printed or hand-scratched. Your brain will still short-circuit.
