Visually, they feature a more squared base—this unique shape creates more points of contact between the fan and the natural lash, making them one of the easiest pre-mades to apply and perfect to learn on. Their wide fan structure provides fuller coverage and is ideal for creating soft or dense volume sets, especially on clients with fewer natural lashes, clients with lash gaps or sparse lash layers. The result? A seamless, high-impact lash line with maximum coverage. They’re also a go-to accessory for wispy sets—thanks to their width and softness, short stems add an extra touch of dimension and airy volume. If you’re aiming for full coverage without the stress, you’ll fall in love with our short stem fans. What to expect from a Short Stem Premade Fan: Great for filling gaps - offers wider area of coverage Wider set fan Fluffier result Matte black finish Beginner friendly design Mid Stem Prefans Mid stem pre-made fans are the perfect blend of structure, symmetry, and sophistication—ideal for artists who want the precision of handmade fans without the extra time and effort. With a fully compact, snatched base, these fans closely mimic the look and feel of handmade volume, offering a super clean attachment point that blends seamlessly onto the natural lash. One of the standout features of mid stem fans is their tiny, ridge-free base, which is especially important when working with higher-dimension fans. Unlike bulky bases that can cause discomfort or risk premature shedding, these fans sit flush and smooth, eliminating that issue entirely. No ridges = no irritation, no catching, and better long-term retention. Because of their refined base and open, symmetrical shape, mid stems do require a bit more precision in placement—making them ideal for intermediate to advanced artists who value clean isolation, balance, and consistent results. If you're all about sharp styling and love the polish of handmade volume (without actually handmaking every fan), you'll love working with these. Lightweight, fluffy, and flawlessly designed for professional results—these are for the artist who doesn’t cut corners but still wants to save time. What to expect from a Mid (Medium) Stem Premade Fan: A perfect in-between our short stem and long stem fan The most similar to handmade volume fans Snatched, compact base (precise placement is a must) Matte black finish Middle of fan on sticky strip Very ideal for high dimension sets (mega volume) Long Stem Prefans Long stem pre-made fans are the go-to for artists who love a refined, clean, well directed lash look with a bold, dark base. Sitting somewhere between short and mid stem styles, these fans feature a longer base with narrow fan width that adds structure and definition—perfect for creating sets with less fluff and more cleanliness or drama which makes them perfect for clients with high lash and layer counts. Their narrow, tapered fan shape creates beautifully symmetrical lashes that give off a polished, uniform effect. Because the darkness extends from the base through the mids, these fans are especially ideal for Russian volume styling, where that dense, dark lash line is key. With a placement style similar to classic lashing, they’re super user-friendly and great for artists at all levels. Whether you're building a dark, bold base, enhancing direction and structure, or pairing them with wet lash fans or classics for contrast, long stem fans are a versatile tool in any lash artist’s kit. Use them to anchor a wispy set, sharpen a styled map, or bring depth to volume sets—and watch your lash work transform. What to expect from a Long Stem Premade Fan: Most resembles classic application, making it easier to work with if you are new to our products Longer base of fan Narrow fan structure, making them easy to direct and create darkness with Matte black finish Anime Lash Prefans Creating the perfect anime, manhua, manga, Japanese-inspired, or exaggerated strip lash sets has never been easier or quicker! What to expect from Anime Lashes: Pre-Bundled Spikes for Effortless Application Perfect for Clients with Sparse Lashes Lightweight, Soft & Ultra-Wearable Innovative Single-Fiber Technology The Ultimate Shortcut to Anime Lash Looks How to Use Anime Lashes: There is no right or wrong way to use them. The application is as simplistic as placing a classic lash. Feel free to use them by themselves or mix them into any classic, hybrid, or volume set you create. But if you are looking for some ideas, here are a few mapping ideas to get you started: For a traditional anime look – Consider only covering a maximum of one lash layer with them. Place 5-8 long spikes across the eye. Follow this by placing an extension between all of your longer spikes—use 5-7mm shorter than the longest spike you have placed. Do not fill in any additional lashes. (Swipe website photos to see the outcome of this mapping technique.) For a dramatic strip lash style or general wispy looks – Cover 50-100% of the natural lashes. Blend multiple lengths throughout every section. For example, in your 15mm section, consider blending 13mm, 12mm, and 11mm lashes within this section as well. The more length variations you use, the wispier the outcome will be. What is the difference between Soft Anime Lashes and Pyramid Spikes? Both Soft Anime and Pyramid Spikes techniques utilize a similar lash layering method, with one key distinction: the effect they produce. Soft Anime lashes deliver a softer, more natural finish, featuring a wider fan structure. In contrast, Pyramid Spikes create a bolder, more defined look with a narrower, compact fan that results in a darker, spiked appearance. Soft Anime: 300+ spikes per tray. Pyramid Spikes: 400 spikes per tray.
