The U-Boat steel is a high strength alloy steel and used extensively in the construction of German submarines and navy ships. The specially bead-blasted submarine steel ensures a high level of durability, scratch and corrosion resistance. Damasko DK22 Another unique characteristic of the submarine steel has to be the color of the steel. The dark titanium grey color gives the watch a utilitarian, no-nonsense attitude while balancing with its classic case size and sterile-like dial.Despite not being a dive watch, this phenomenal case of the DK22 achieves a substantial water resistance rating of 200m.
