The equal-armed cross, also referred to as the square cross or peaceful cross is know by many names and is found in ancient cultures some predating Christianity. The equal armed cr oss shown often within a circle represents the planet earth in traditional astrological symbols. Here with the addition of Celtic knots with center circle this equal-armed Celtic cross represents "No Beginning, No End, Infinity." The center circle to pagans represents the celestial sun; and arms represent the elements the four elements – earth, air, fire and water. To Christians it represents the Son of God, and the four arms of the cross are a reminder of Christ's crucifixion and the beginning of the Christian faith.
