The manufacturer specifies sub-1-metre GPS precision. 2200-Nit 7″ Display The 7-inch high-clarity LTPS LCD offers a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and sustained brightness of 2200 nits. DMD specifies that the LCD sustains its maximum peak brightness independently of temperature and power consumption. Android 14 & Navigation Apps With Android 14 and the Google Play Store, you can install your preferred navigation applications. Compatible choices include DMD2, Google Maps, OSMAnd, Locus Maps, GPX Viewer, Rally Navigator, Waze, TomTom GO, Gaia GPS, Kurviger, Guru Maps and many others. DMD2 Included DMD2 comes pre-installed and fully licensed. The NOR7E also includes four user-configurable coloured buttons that can be assigned to functions such as launching apps, switching between apps, sending an SOS request, saving locations, controlling the GPX recorder or disabling touchscreen input. LoRa Wireless Group Ride The LoRa wireless module and basic antenna are included. DMD2 Group Ride can use LoRa to share rider locations without requiring an internet connection. The system can combine LoRa and internet connectivity when available. Dedicated Motorcycle Connections The M9 screw-type rear connector carries power and data and supports compatible wired DMD remote controllers. A second M9 accessory connector provides power and USB data for compatible expansion accessories. The supplied harness allows the NOR7E and a compatible DMD wired remote controller to remain powered and connected through a single cable system. Designed for Adventure & Off-Road Use The DMD NOR7E is rated IP67 and MIL STD 810G. Its included metal holder features vibration dampening, while the M9 screw-type connection provides a secure connection for power and remote-controller data.
