In the mid 90’s David Hockney was besotted with his miniature Dachshunds, Stanley and Boodge. They inspired a number of tender paintings, of which this is one. We love the jewel co lours and the deep adoration of the artist for his subject! This poster is now in it's third decade. Overall the condition is excellent. Due to its age, there may be some minor yellowing visible on the white bottom edge which would be disguised by framing. Text along bottom of poster reads: 'David Hockney Dog Paintings Salts Mill 1995. 1853 Gallery Salts Mill Saltaire Yorkshire.'
