There's something almost zen about this one. Dog is a single brushstroke heart — open, unfinished on the left side, letting the world in. I painted it in black on white, nothing mo re, because some things don't need dressing up. An open heart is already everything. To me it's a symbol of peace, of making room — for people, for ideas, for the parts of life that don't fit neatly inside the lines. The stroke is loose, a little wild at the edges.
