Digital battery life indicator Step-by-Step Pairing Hands Free Square to X series collars (Dog 1) Power Off & Set to Zero: Turn the Dogtra X remote off and rotate the stimulation dial to "0" (zero) to enter pairing mode. Initiate Pairing: Press and hold the Power button and the stimulation button (Nick, Continuous, or Pager) you want to assign to the square simultaneously. Watch for Rapid Blink: Continue holding until the LED light on the remote starts blinking rapidly (around 3-5 seconds). Press the Square: Release the buttons and immediately press the Handsfree Square for about 3 seconds. Confirm Pairing: The LED on the collar/square will turn solid, indicating it's paired to that function for Dog 1. To Program for Dog 2 (Optional) Select Dog 2: Flip the switch on the remote to the "Dog 2" position.
