BACKSTORY The body of this bag is crafted from lace doilies found at a church thrift store in eastern Long Island, giving it a unique scalloped rectangular shape. The wooden handle s are repurposed from a 1980s Raymar Purse Craft Kit, originally sourced from South Carolina. The interior lining is made from salvaged secondhand material. Each detail was thoughtfully hand-assembled in my NYC studio (apartment). Materials: Cotton, Wood Care Instructions: Spot clean or dry clean only to preserve the integrity of the vintage materials. If you take care of it, it’ll take care of you for years to come. Measurements: Width: 10 inches Height: 14.5 inches Handle Height: 3.5 inches A note on secondhand and vintage elements: Your piece may show subtle signs of its age. These items have lived many a life before taking on their current form. The natural wear and tear they carry is evidence of the passage of time and their unique backstories.
