This hardware kit (and alsothis wiring kit) are required by Dometic to be used to install either theRTX 1000orRTX 200012-volt rooftop air conditioners to have a valid warranty. You can purchase this kit separately if needed or it’s bundled with the RTX 1000 or RTX 2000 air conditioners. This installation hardware kit comes with the following components that allow for rapid and secure installation. Interior trim.Note, this trim is fairly large, so many installers with camper vans, decide not to use this piece and, instead, make their own interior trim that matches their ceiling treatment. Rubber gasket (shorter) for sealing the AC baseplate to the roof of the installation. Note that therequired wiring kitincludes a taller version. Most installers prefer the shorter version but the taller version is helpful in certain installation conditions.
