A classic deck builder, considered one of the best. Cards are placed in a market. Play a card and buy a card to build your engine, but be careful buying too many point cards will clog it up. You are a monarch, like your parents before you, a ruler of a small pleasant kingdom of rivers and evergreens.Unlike your parents, however, you have hopes and dreams! You want a bigger and more pleasant kingdom, with more rivers and a wider variety of trees. You want a Dominion! In all directions lie fiefs, freeholds, and feodums. All are small bits of land, controlled by petty lords and verging on anarchy. You will bring civilization to these people, uniting them under your banner.Rio Grande Games has updated Dominion in this Second Edition! Our Personal Review and Recommendation There is a reason why Dominion is a must have game. It has continued to set the bar for a deck builder game, and I'd consider still one of the best. This game get often played, it's fast to setup, and always generates a lot of table talk and interaction when played. Absolutely love this, and all our family members play it, one of our sons favourites (under 10 years old) and a good friends favourite game. Id never decline a game of Dominion. If you haven't played it I'd strongly recommend trying it out. Rank from us 8.5/10. If you wanted an expansion I'd recommend Prosperity as the first, followed by Seaside.
