He was so into it that he even made abacuses to keep score. If you walked into their house, you’d almost surely smell his cigar and hear the sounds of old dominoes clinking on a card table by the fireplace. I love when people are passionate about their quirky interests and he absolutely was. Our little domino pieces remind me of him every time I see them. (That's him in the plaid flannel shirt!)
