Built as an equivalent to Domnick Hunter 010AR, this coalescing element is a direct-fit service part for the filter housing that originally carried it. The wrapped media traps oil aerosols and water mist deep in its structure, where the captured droplets merge and drain rather than being carried on through the system. Filtration of this kind is what keeps a compressed air system predictable. Without it, liquid works its way into pipework, drops the performance of compressed air dryers, and ends up in the tools and processes at the far end of the line. Because coalescing media loads gradually, the usual practice is an annual change or a change triggered by rising differential pressure.
