Donate a Bear to the Kelowna Women’s Shelter When you purchase a Sunshine Bear for the Kelowna Women’s Shelter, we will deliver it directly to the shelter to be shared through their programs and services. These include emergency and second-stage housing, the PEACE program, community-based victim services, sexual assault services, and education and prevention initiatives. These bears are meant to provide comfort, support, and a small reminder that no one is alone during difficult times. In addition, 25% of proceeds from every Sunshine Bear purchased are donated to the BC Cancer Foundation to support cancer research and patient care. For orders over 50 bears, we feature your name or company name on our donation page on our site and in the package with the bears unless you choose to remain anonymous.
