What is UV DTF? "UV" refers to UV (ultraviolet) printing, where special UV inks are cured instantly under UV light. "DTF" stands for Direct-to-Film, meaning the design is printed o nto a film before being transferred to the final surface. The film acts as a carrier, holding the ink and adhesive layers until they are pressed or applied to the target object. How to apply UV DTF? You peel off the backing and apply the sticky side of the design to your target surface—no heat press or water is needed.
