A fine 1930s Qashgai triple medallion rug from Fars in south west Persia. Birds with five feet and other zoomorphic motifs. Luxuriant soft fringes and slightly glossy pile. This is a lovely rug - an exuberant design, lively colours and good materials. Slight wear in places; rewoven end guards. Underlay recommended.
