The 5 oz. Tea Bowl was first designed to be great for tea as the bowled shape dispels heat faster. Whilst working with Origin Coffee Roasters we found these cups are perfect for coffee or creating latte art as well. They are also lovely to have a between meal snack in such as yoghurt or chopped fruit for a little pick-me-up. The shape of these cups reflects the curvature of boat hulls, making the form perfect for cupping in your hand. The speckled look of these cups is created by iron deposits in the clay which when fired emerges through the glaze. Our cups are handcrafted and beautifully designed, with each piece having its unique softness and character.
