2025 RepressDOT is a new label from electronic dub duo Dialog and it kicks off with their own DOT 1 EP. Dialog is a creative exchange between established producers and live artists Samuel van Dijk and Rasmus Hedlund focused on crafting perfect sound. Rastafarian language and culture run deep throughout their explorations as they work with Jamaican vocalist Benji aka Daveron Dawkins who brings his own live and direct reflections on life to the music. The first EP features four tracks of strictly high-grade sonics made on self-built machines and analogue synths as well as an array of guitars, bass, drums, congas, amps, organs, and processed field recordings. Benji toasts over the top of the instrumentals to reflect original sound system setups with authentic results. This is the first of a series of Dialog EPs to come on vinyl and digital.
