ABOUT This design and glaze is inspired by the beautiful Dotteral bird found on New Zealand beaches. A mum and baby bird can be found on the mug, and is surrounded by two layered glazes that mimic the bird and beach surroundies these cuties are most like to be seen. The glazes fuse and the amber bubbles to the surface during firing. Creating a lovely spotted effect. A local New Zealand speckled clay finishes off the look on this unique mugs.
