Wrap Sorana is a big warm hug of a wrap, knitted with soft and cushy Cumbria Fingering, a sportweight yarn (despite what the description or name may say!). You’ll quickly settle in to the easy rhythm of the hiccup rib – with the same row, a 3-stitch repeat, on both sides of the fabric. A final splash of colour finishes the wrap with a little flourish. It is introduced via a lateral braid and continues with only a few short rows before the bind off. If lateral braids are too much of a bother for your taste, the braid can be replaced by a couple of garter rows.Size is eminently adaptable. Also yarn choice – you can go lighter and knit with a fingering/sock yarn, or heavier and knit with DK-weight or Aran.A chart illustrates the progressive colour shift, edging and the mistake rib. As always there are also detailed written instructions, along with photo tutorials and a schematic.
