The 3rd piece from my "coffee series", is my latest artwork titled "Double Espresso". “Double Espresso” is in keeping with this new series and shows my love and appreciation for freshly brewed coffee. The dark brown tones represent the deep essence of espresso beans contrasting beautifully with the lighter areas of creamy caramel , reminiscent of a latte's warm, milky richness. The layers of textures is striking—thick, textured brushstrokes and raised elements to capture the robust energy and dynamic feel of a freshly brewed espresso. This piece conveys both the raw strength of the coffee beans and the smooth, comforting warmth of a latte in one visual experience. It's as though the two elements (the boldness of the espresso and the smoothness of the latte) are woven together in a way that invites the viewer to experience both the complexity and warmth of the coffee world through texture and color. The textured surface gives you the feeling of foam swirling on top of a freshly brewed espresso or the gritty, earthy essence of coffee grounds. The tones subtly shift, from warm, inviting hues at the top to darker, more intense browns at the bottom, creating a dynamic contrast. You could also feel a sense of complexity, as the textures give the impression that you’re looking at something rich, layered, and intense—much like a double shot of espresso itself.
