Is the horsehair real animal hair? + No — it is synthetic faux horsehair. No animal products are used. It is woven from soft synthetic fibres engineered to drape and move like real horsehair while being more durable, more colour-stable, and easier to maintain than the natural material. Can I wash or wet-clean the mane? + No — water and cleaning sprays can mat the synthetic fibres and affect the drape. To clean, simply dust gently with a soft brush or comb through with a wide-tooth comb. For deeper refresh, hang the lamp installed and let gravity do the work — the strands will naturally settle over a few days. Which bulb do you recommend? + A G9 LED bulb in warm white (2700K), at 3–4W. Because the diffuser is white acrylic, frosted bulbs blend in cleanly.
