DESCRIPTION: The WeatherWool Double Hood is seriously warm! Made with two layers of our own FullWeight Merino Jacquard Fabric (or two layers of Denim Fabric), the Double Hood resists extreme snow, sleet, rain, water and wind. The chin strap is adjustable and the cinch cords are double-anchored. The chin strap can snug the Hood to three different head sizes. The AAJ and DDC have three buttons under the fold of the collar. The Double Hood has corresponding buttonholes. The Hood is large and the flaps fasten in the front, just under the chin. There are draw cords at the sides that can pull the Hood "down and in", closer to the head. Anything short of really insane weather doesn't penetrate it. The FullWeight Double Hood Weighs 14 oz (0.4 kg), Denim slightly less. COMPATIBILITY: The double hood is a one size fits all desgined specifically for our All-Around Jacket and Denim Double Coat. However customers have had buttons added to other garments to accomidate the hood. The Jacquard Double Hood is a bit much for the other pieces, but the Denim Double Hood is noticeably lighter. If you want a Double Hood to go with your AAJ or DDC, we recommend ordering at the same time to ensure the exact colors match.
