This is a genuine Ikat textile produced in India. The process dies the pattern on all the thread before it is woven, which creates the fuzzy looking edges to the design. This is a good weight with a good knot and crisp edges. This is a large pattern produced in a limited run by hand. Each tie will vary slightly as it comes from different pieces of a larger textile.
